Over the last couple of years, Net Solutions has focused on using Agile project management approaches for complex projects. We have not yet adhered “completely” to a project management framework like SCRUM or used project engineering techniques from eXtreme Programming. The defining feature of all our [and all over the world as such] Agile projects has been “incremental and iterative development”. With increasing success of projects delivered using this approach, we have slowly moved towards “by the book” Scrum project management approach with a few XP project engineering techniques.

AgileCollab would be a live chronicle of our efforts and thinking as well as provide information to existing customers, prospective customers as well as employees about Agile. It should also be seen as an initiative, towards Agile and Scrum project management approach for some of our projects, clients and teams. AgileCollab is composed of two words: Agile + Collab [Agile and Collaboration]. This re-emphasizes the collaborative aspect of all Agile projects. An Agile approach helps clients by providing them quick lead time to market and best returns on investment sooner. A collaborative approach allows us to provide extreme flexibility on one hand and balancing conflicting pulls on a project from various quarters on the other. More specifically, we plan to use Scrum Project Management Framework for continuous process improvement.
