Scrum Unconference at Hyderabad was a resounding success. A large proportion of signatories actually turned up and a day of intense discussions using Open Space Rules saw everyone carrying back at least something new. The Unconference was organized at Hotel Central Court and discussed various topics like Metrics, Fixed price projects, Effort Estimation and Distributed Teams. We will post the recommendations or key learnings as soon as we can lay our hands on it. Meanwhile, here are some images from the day [thanks to Scrum India group]:

Some of the topics that would be discussed in the group include:

Biweekly posting of Scrum events throughout India would be posted as well.
The group already has about 125 members within a day of launch [mostly Certified Scrum Masters from India - however, anyone is free to join the group, including people new to Scrum].
The group URL is http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Scrum-India/ To sign up for the Scrum-India group without having to go through the full Yahoo! registration process, just click the button below that says “join this group”, and then on the web page that loads, look for a link at the bottom that says “join the mailing list instead”– click that and you would be subscribed.
